Kelly and Rangi's beautiful Summer wedding in Wellington, New Zealand ~*
Last month I had the honour of designing my beautiful friend Kelly's wedding in my hometown of Wellington, New Zealand. After growing up with this fun loving and sporty girl for 20 years, there was no doubting the immense joy I would have designing her special day. To say it was an amazing day is an understatement! I got to catch up with so many wonderful women I had attended Sacred Heart college with as a teenager and meet their gorgeous children, not to mention the incredible and almost uncharacteristic weather we were able to enjoy on the day, sunny and warm with very little wind- I was delighted!
Kelly chose beautiful crisp white and blue toned flowers for her bouquets and centrepieces, including stunning white "Advance" roses, blue Hydrangea, Scabiosa, Clematis, Chinchirinchees and native Berzillia berries with pockets of velvety grey "Dusty Miller" foliage. The ceremony was held at The Dowse museum in Lower Hutt with the reception held at "The Boatshed" on Wellington Harbour. The day could not have been organised better with everyone in great spirits. To top it off the staff at The Boatshed were extremely helpful and the whole day was a huge success.
